Temple Challenges
When: daily rotation, six temples across the week. Weekly progress resets Tuesday 00:00 UTC. Where: the Adventure Camp. Unlocks at Basecamp 12. What it is: faction-restricted and attribute-restricted combat challenges with a long cumulative reward ladder. Why it matters: the cumulative ladder pays hero shards, gear chests and breakthrough chests indefinitely. It rewards depth over time rather than a burst of effort.
The short version¶
- Check which temple is open today — the rotation is fixed.
- Clear it with the faction it demands. Three of the six are faction-locked.
- Push first-win rewards on new levels; use Raid on repeats.
- Track the cumulative clear ladder — it is the real prize.
- Weekly reset is Tuesday 00:00 UTC, not Sunday.
- Rankings are unaffected by the reset.
The rotation¶
Six temples, each open on fixed days:
- Tomahawk Temple — Tuesday, Wednesday — Warrior heroes only
- Hawkeye Temple — Tuesday, Wednesday — Shooter heroes only
- Thunder-foot Temple — Tuesday, Wednesday — Rider heroes only
- Emerald Temple — Sunday, Monday — only tech-granted attributes apply
- Dominator Temple — Thursday, Friday — only Beast-granted attributes apply
- Temple of Light — Friday, Saturday, Sunday — all heroes; tech and Beast attributes both apply
What this means in practice: the three faction temples all run on the same two days. If you have built only one faction properly — which is the usual and correct advice — you can only seriously contest one of the three. That is fine. Clear yours, and take what you can from the others.
Emerald and Dominator strip out most of your power. In Emerald only tech attributes count; in Dominator only beast attributes count. These reward the parts of your account you have been neglecting, which is a useful signal about where your progression is thin.
Temple of Light is the generous one — all heroes, both attribute sources — and it runs three days.
Unlock gates¶
- Basecamp 12 — Temple Challenges become available from the Adventure Camp
- Basecamp 13 — Tech challenges
- Basecamp 18 — Beast and All-Attribute challenges
The reset — get this right¶
Weekly challenge progress and Raid reset happen Tuesday 00:00 UTC. This changed on May 28, 2026, and older community guides saying "Sunday at sunset" are out of date.
Rankings are not affected by the reset.
The practical consequence: Monday is the last day of the week, not the first. If you want to bank clears before a reset, Monday night is your deadline.
Rewards¶
Three types:
- First-win rewards on each new level
- Raid rewards on repeats — use Raid rather than re-fighting manually
- Cumulative clear rewards — the long ladder below
The cumulative clear ladder¶
This is what you are actually playing for. Rewards at total levels cleared:
| Levels cleared | Reward |
|---|---|
| 10 | 20 recruiting tickets |
| 30 | 10 orange universal hero shards |
| 60 | 50 recruiting tickets |
| 100 | 20 universal hero shards |
| 150 | 15 hero gear chests |
| 250 | 10 material chests |
| 350 | 1 orange gear chest |
| 500 | 20 material chests |
| 700 | 30 hero gear chests |
| 900 | 30 material chests |
| 1100 | 50 hero gear chests |
| 1300 | 40 material chests |
| 1500 | 10 breakthrough chests |
| 1700 | 50 material chests |
| 1900 | 30 breakthrough chests |
| 2100 | 40 breakthrough chests |
Read the shape of that ladder. The early rungs come fast and pay recruiting tickets and hero shards. The late rungs — 1500 and beyond — pay breakthrough chests, which feed the gold-to-red gear breakthrough that gates your real combat power (see Hero Gear). Nothing else in the game hands those out in that quantity for free.
It is cumulative and it never resets, so every level you clear at any point in your account's life counts toward it. There is no reason to skip a day.
Difficulty note¶
Thunder-foot Temple's difficulty was raised to match the other two faction temples on June 25, 2026. If you main Riders and remember it being easy, it is not any more.
Common mistakes¶
Assuming the reset is Sunday. It is Tuesday 00:00 UTC. This is the single most common Temple error.
Re-fighting cleared levels manually. Use Raid.
Ignoring Emerald and Dominator because your power is low there. That is the point of them — and the cumulative ladder does not care which temple the clears came from.
Treating it as optional daily filler. The cumulative ladder is one of the best free sources of breakthrough chests in the game, and it only moves if you show up.
